That’s because there’s lots of ways to do it, and each one has a different throughline, in theory ukraine could attack Kherson then swing south relying on deception, that would change a lot of the calculus for better and worse alternatively it could cut off Kherson at the sea, then focus momentum on Crimea and not Kherson, relying on supply shortages to deal with them, again changing the plans and requirements
