@crackcbainefl2675 damn dude no need to get a stick up your ass, I didn’t claim to be a corporal, I just said you don’t look at history much if you think “former allies becoming enemies” isn’t one of the only constants in history

@Flaps72 one death doesn’t mean the other side gets a death, as the joke goes, ‘when the Americans encounter resistance, they call heavy fire support’ The difference also that internet fanboys don’t get is American fire support had tech giving them good accuracy, soviet fire support was along the lines of ‘bring more ammo’, western CBI was unparalleled in the war
5
@CsImre tell that to the Volksturmm, the Germans were hellbent on resisting the Bolshevists
5
You don’t look at history much, do you?
4
Exhausted doesn’t even get it across, their manpower was on the verge of collapse, their rifle units for example were only half strength usually
3
“Honorable” hahahahhahaa how naive
3
@SelfProclaimedEmperor uh, did you not see the deployment plan against Japan? One bomb per week
3
Maybe they had used “liberated” troops extensively because of their manpower shortages It’s questionable if they’d remain loyal to the Reds
2
I hate Churchill with a passion, but he was right, unequivocally, war against Soviet Union in 1945 would’ve been the way to ensure the world would be more or less peaceful, look where we are now
2
Not to mention the Soviets would starve without Canadian and American food supplies, there was mass starvation in nazi occupied areas due to their actions, so after 6-12 months, the fuel (half of their fuel is from the West) and food will have run out The Germans were outnumbered 3-1 and eventually 4 or 5 to 1, and still held the Russians back for 2 years, the Soviets couldn’t get close to the Rhine
2
@DeclinedMercy as much as I agree the Soviets should’ve been left for dead at the hands of the third Reich to say Europe ‘wouldn’t lose’ with a west vs Russia war is asinine, half of Europe was under soviet occupation and they wouldn’t leave willingly
2
Hopefully, perhaps another Warsaw uprising would be in order
2
No, the fascists should’ve died, but we shouldn’t have lend leased the Soviets, should’ve let them earn their win the hard way (well that assumes they could have, they couldn’t)
2
@Lokuzdeckel nah, Hitler is in 3rd place on the ‘amount of dead’ count in history, following Stalin and the champ: Mao Zedong
2
That name gives me cancer
2
@icantcomeupwithagoodusername24 Bulgaria 99% wouldve if the west could protect it, but Bulgaria wasn’t known for fighting
1
Did uh…did you watch the video? Then again it was obvious considering how the west suffered minor casualties against their enemy and then would be up against the same kind of enemy in terms of inferiority and exhaustion
1
LOL where’d you read this? Your fan fiction? The western Allies were meme’d for their logistics, the Soviets were meme’d for their starvation
1
@Argentvs that’s assuming they’d know about it, this hypothetical is summer 1945 begin, A bombs weren’t deployed yet
1
This is true the conscription age was raised to 55 or 65 (I forget) in 1944
