No, nukes or not the nations at the end of the day will still exist and the fight will still be on If Soviet Union and NATO thought ground conflict would still occur after THAT exchange, China’s 300 weapons and America’s 500ish allocated weapons would be weak sauce by comparison to what those two had in store for each other

Any and everyone who would unite against China for commencing nuclear war, or everyone uniting against the USA for commencing nuclear war, depending on circumstance? Any of those people exist for you? Nuclear war isn’t human depopulation, hundreds of millions would survive in China and some 200 million likely in the USA, the state still exists and thus the fight wouldn’t end with the big red button, it just makes everything worse
