Ehhhhhhhhhh depends on how effective modern air is at killing british boats The whole point of Battle of Britain was to secure an invasion opening, so assuming the RAF is as spooked as Binkov predicts, and the bombing attacks can kill british ships from destroyers to even capitol ships, then the British would most certainly be vulnerable However, the Kriegsmarine was pathetic in 1940 due to Norway campaign, and troop transport would be things like river barges, which would fail in autumn storms and just storms in general, not to mention southern England isn’t Normandy, not very conducive to amphibious landing, especially to a nation with no experience in amphibious assaults

@dreamingflurry2729 no, amphibious assault =/= rushed evacuation, sea sickness alone would kneecap an invasion force, hard to fight while vomiting Civilian ships are also about as armored as body pillows, and the RAF was not lacking in brave heroes willing to die, strafing a civilian ship full of invading troops would be a tough day for them

@dreamingflurry2729 transport planes also couldn’t transport enough tanks of quality, I’m not even sure if the Ju52 could transport a Panzer 3, let alone the Panzer 4
