XDDDDDDD My guy, you have your dates wrong, your baseline is broken, and uh, the East Indies are islands, if they were able to do anything against the Japanese except die, they could starve the enemy out on the islands with their navy, like the Americans did, too bad they weren’t good enough to do any of that

Battleships and carriers don’t do good escorting against subs, and there wasn’t a shortage of such ships anyway, especially after the USA was passing them out like candy for free Paragraph 3 has to be the dumbest thing in existence, in 1942 the Soviet Union was kinda facing an existential threat of the enemy cutting the Volgograd gap, and they responded to such attempts by shooting them, what the hell was Britain doing? Running from Rommel in Africa waiting for enough American troops and equipment to get there? Yes
