No one wants to sit and watch someone with no defense die for the crime of standing (or I guess lying) where they happen to be, as opposed to shooting back when you’re shot at It’s even in the US Sniper selection/training manuals, “it is hard to predict a sniper’s reaction to their first kill as it is much simpler to kill in self defense than it is to actively take someone’s life.”

  16.  @XvitruvX  we can discuss whether this guy or that dude or the other woman is a bad guy individually, but the organization they’re serving isn’t, and it’s inarguable, no one deserves a blanket brush but at the same time stereotypes become a thing for a reason, in this case because the Russians have this war crime fetish, all of them? No of course not, but enough of them to garner a reputation, so you can’t be too surprised when someone who sees a random, but knows they’re of the org, is immediately treated to the guilt by association

  32. Is it really that small? During the run up to war a lot of independent journalists went around interviewing Russians about the potential war and none of them (who were shown) thought A it would happen and B that it was reasonable
