If I was an 11M equivalent in Ukraine you can bet I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere near my mech vehicle considering the artillery present in theatre, without an Airforce to interdict them as we all learned in the Second World War and beyond, armored vehicles are magnets for artillery fire, and the challenge is to be near enough to matter and support, but not so close as to feel the impacts the hard way

  2.  @gotanon9659  of course you want to be protected by the armor, which is fine on the way, but the moment you must dismount “to do troopy things” that armor is doing nothing for you
