There are couple of things for me in true crime stories: 1) I fell so "protected" behind my laptop and my life - so much better for not having that in it. 2) Some of them include very interesting science - the "Forensic files" show was incredible. 3) They are puzzles solved in front of your eyes, it is very engaging.

  2. I think that was her point - the job makes you a bit disillusioned, since you only meet certain type of guys. For example I personally do not know a single person that likes Trump. If you have asked me he would have never been elected. Guess what... my pool of acquaintances was so biased.

  3.  @stratvar  Yes, it is, but I did not think she was complaining. I understood it as a comment on how the profession may influence your view on certain topics.
