I think that was her point - the job makes you a bit disillusioned, since you only meet certain type of guys. For example I personally do not know a single person that likes Trump. If you have asked me he would have never been elected. Guess what... my pool of acquaintances was so biased.

@stratvar Yes, it is, but I did not think she was complaining. I understood it as a comment on how the profession may influence your view on certain topics.
