Canada was taking a lot of immigrants, but if you see what those immigrants have to pass trough (my family being one of those) you will realize that they pick their immigrants carefully, gathering practically the "top" people from everywhere - well educated, knowing the language (English or french), usually with kids and with no health problems and on top of that, arriving with initial funds of (back then) 20 000$, for their first 6 month expenses. So you see, those are different type of immigrants, so may be Sweden should start applying similar policies.

@MoonPhantom I believe that is correct. I believe also that as a country that was ethnically and religiously very coherent, it was vey arrogant to think you will show to the world the right way to accept different cultures. It turns out this is not as easy and straightforward as you thought. Those people come with their own problems, mindset and ideas and letting them in and giving them money is not always the answer. As a person living in a country where we are very mixed ethnically and religiously I was tired to hear how we should starting doing things. Things that we had coped with for far longer than you (all the Nordic countries). Our ways are not very good, that is true, as people are divided, but this is a working way and dismissing it was really insulting. Now you are ready to give up after even not one whole generation of refugees. Only big words from you.
