  8. I just wish other phrases were used than "concentration camp" or" never again". These phrases are associated with the Holocaust in the minds of most people. It certainly can be interpreted as being insensitive to Jews especially survivors. It also distracts people from the real issue ( as seen by some of the comments below) which is how to best handle the humanitarian crisis at the border.

The Arabs in Israel can: be citizens Vote Hold public office Apply for institutions of higher education Participate in all aspects of Israeli life They live in the same villages and towns and cities they have always lived in for years. Arabs can live where they chose. For example the city of Jaffa is mixed. In Haifa Arabs and Jews live together and attend the same schools. That is not apartheid. The Arab population is stable. So no genocide either What amazes me is the brass you have to lie and incite. Do you think that improves the situation of the average Arab in Israel?

FYI: I am a Orthodox Jewish woman and I live on a Yishuv. I am well aware of the views out there. It does not change my mind or my commitment. Have you ever visited a Yishuv and spoken to a settler? Perhaps you should step out of your comfort zone.

  14.  @worldreformmedia6593  If the PM uses funds in a way that is contrary to US policy. I am sure he will be informed of such. Although I am not sure it was a problem with the US. Israel is not entirely dependant on the US. We do have a good economy of our own. I think until you really get to know Israeli society up close you should refrain from critizing it. As far as Mr Finklestein is concerned even he would allow me my own opinion. He certainly has a lot of his own.

  15.  @worldreformmedia6593  Judea and Samaria are historically a part of Israel. Not to mention the number of Yishuvs. So I don't see that as a option. No one in their right mind would live under the PA. As for free access between Gaza and Judea and Samaria again not a chance. The Hamas can't be trusted. The Arabs have as much autonomy as they deserve and Israel can permit. Jerusalem is will remain undivided.

  16.  @worldreformmedia6593  The Arabs have not lived in Israel for thousands of years. The only indegenous people are the Jews. The Arabs are the occupiers/ colonizers. They came as migrants during the 1800s for economic reasons or where brought here during the Arab wars . The Temple Mount was there before the mosque. Moslems built the mosque on the exact same place as the holy of holies. It is a method of obliterating another culture and replacing it with Islam. They do it all the time. So no we won't be sharing it. Jerusalem is Judaism only holy city. It is mentioned virtually every place in Jewish religious literature. It is not even mentioned once in the Koran.

  19. @Tim Durfey Her apology was a "qualified apology" not a real apology. If she was a private citizen it would be different but she is a public official. She has to be responsible for all her words in full and with humility. It is not unusual for politicians to receive threats. Perhaps this is a good time for her to some soul searching that includes how to make a point without offending people. Its called diplomacy. " I won't be silenced" is just immature and stubborn. As for "laying off her" she will always be in the public eye and will be called on to explain herself more than once in her career and sometimes to defend herself. If it is too much she can retire from politics and live a private life.
