  2.  @Avrysatos  Let me put it simply too. As a person who has lived with Moslems modesty is a very important issue. No Arab country no matter how liberal would tolerate a Moslem women displaying herself in public by dancing. Ilhan Omar plays loose and fast with Islamic law and socially acceptable behavior.   3. I did not make one bigoted statement. I expressed a opinion based on facts. I never mentioned her hijab. Shalom Aleichem by the way means "Peace unto you" It is the same in Arabic " Salaam Aleihem" . You should try the concept.

  4. Sharia or Shakira law can only be Instituted by a Iman or a Cad( a Islamic judge). A ordinary person can not do that. Is Ilhan Omar suggesting that her role as a Congresswoman gives her support more officiality?
