Concentration camps were death camps. They were built specifically to murder Jews. It was planned by the Nazis at the Wannsee Conference as a part of the Final Solution. The humanitarian crisis at the border is terrible but it was not deliberately created to harm anyone. AOC misspoke and should apologize for her words. Using Holocaust references has become a bad habit and it deflects from the real issues which in this case how to better handle the crisis at the border.

The phrase "Concentration Camp" used by AOC was a direct reference to the Holocaust and she should apologize for it. You are just deflecting in order to defend AOC. I repeat the constant use of Holocaust terminology to describe events is disingenuous, offensive and useless. The only racism here is yours I suspect. ...

@Avrysatos It was a clear reference and modern usage of the phrase. If she meant something else then why not say so. "Pin it on her" Do you think I am against her? No I have already stated my feelings on the matter. Aren't they clear enough? She wanted people to know what the conditions at the border are. So now instead she is dealing with this issue. So why not just say it wasn't what I wanted to say or point out.

@DirtFlyer The humanitarian crisis at the border developed as the number of people arrived at the border. It was unexpected and unplanned for by the US. Now that it has happened it is time for both sides of the aisle to manage it instead of managing their public images. That includes utube comments like yours.
