Charlie MacDougall Willfully misinterpreting a historical phrase to fit a specific agenda is very different from "having a opinion or a different perspective". The phrase "concentration camp or never again" modern application has always been about the Holocaust. You need to educate yourself about Holocaust history. You are completely desensitized. As I stated originally AOC use of these phrases has completely distracted the American public from the real issue. ...The humanitarian disaster developing at the border. Shalom Aleichem!!!

I just wish other phrases were used than "concentration camp" or" never again". These phrases are associated with the Holocaust in the minds of most people. It certainly can be interpreted as being insensitive to Jews especially survivors. It also distracts people from the real issue ( as seen by some of the comments below) which is how to best handle the humanitarian crisis at the border.

The Arabs in Israel can: be citizens Vote Hold public office Apply for institutions of higher education Participate in all aspects of Israeli life They live in the same villages and towns and cities they have always lived in for years. Arabs can live where they chose. For example the city of Jaffa is mixed. In Haifa Arabs and Jews live together and attend the same schools. That is not apartheid. The Arab population is stable. So no genocide either What amazes me is the brass you have to lie and incite. Do you think that improves the situation of the average Arab in Israel?

The phrase "Never again" was a phrase said by the late Rabbi Kahana of the JDL...Jewish Defense League. I am sorry you were attacked on line but the phrase was coined for the Holocaust. It means that the Jewish people should never allow another Holocaust. AOC should have been more careful of her words. Recently a 90yrs old Holocaust survivor invited her to visit Auschwitz with him. It is a good idea. Let's not be distracted from the issue. ....helping the people at the border.

@faizeladam1404 Selective memory? We have a whole museum dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust. You should visit and educate yourself about what the term concentration camp really means etc. Apartheid? The Arabs of Israel can choose citizenship. They can vote hold public office and participate in all aspects of Israeli life. There is no apartheid. Ethnic cleansing? The Arabs of Israel live in the same villages and towns they have always lived in for generations. So no ethnic cleansing either. If you want to talk about persecution torture killing imprisonment expulsion apartheid ethnic cleansing we speak about the treatment of Jews in Arab lands. Okay?
