  1. Hevron was a Jewish city since the time of Avraham Avenu. It is the home of the Tomb of the Patriarchs. It was once the capital of the Kingdom of Israel in the time of King David. It's indegenous Jewish population was destroyed in 1929 and only returned in 1967. A small Jewish community lives there now among hostile Arabs. The Breaking The Silence NGO is paid for by European countries.

  9. The Arabs in Hevron are especially hostile to Jews and live behind barbwire and need the protection of the IDF. Jews are a minority here...in their own holy city of Hevron!
