The Jewish People are the indegenous people of the Southern Levant with a continuous presence of more than 4ooo years. The Arabs are immigrants who came as conquerers and stayed as occupiers during the Arab Conquests 1400 years ago and again during WW2 when Jewish immigration was limited by the British at the behest of the Arab leadership( White Papers)and Arab immigration was permitted. The Arabs never guested us. They prevented Jewish immigration and thousands of Jews died in the camps. The first independent state was under King Shaul and the second under King David 3000 years ago with Jerusalem as its capital . The return to Zion, the in gathering of the exiles and the reclamation of the land of Israel are all G-d's will and a fulfillment of his eternal covenant with the Jewish People. @Gigi Ghiba The Jewish People were expelled from their ancient ancestral homeland of Eretz Yisroel 2000 years ago and sold into slavery to all parts of the known world. The terms Ashkenasim, Sephardim and Mizrachim are artificial terms for the Jewish People created by the expulsion. All Jews are indegenous to the Southern Levant. They didn't relinquish their duties. . They transferred their responsibilities as leaders to Beiti Knesset. The Beit HaMikdash was destroyed but not our connection to G-d. We fulfill our obligations through prayer, observance of law and custom. All of which is found in The Holy Torah
