The modern state of Israel was reestablished as a Jewish State by the UN in 1947. * Am Yisroel( The Jewish People)And Bnei Yisroel ( Sons of Israel) are all found in the Holy Torah which is thousands of years older than the Quran. Israel and Israelis is just a modern terminology based on The Holy Torah.
