  1. Israel has a historical and moral right to exercise sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Until Israel captured it in 1967 Syria terrorized the Jewish communities in the area with constant unprovoked gun fire into these communities. Jewish presence in the Golan is not new. There were ancient Jewish communities. The most well known was Gamla. International law allows for annexation of an area for security reasons. This situation certainly fits here considering the presence of Iranian troops in Syria.

  2. @Kool-aid Watchdog Nonsense the Syrians have refused peace with Israel for generations. Instead they attacked Israel in 3 wars. They used the Golan Heights to terrorize the Jewish communities below them . That was the reason Israel captured and annexed the Golan Heights. And it is the reason that Israel has declared sovereignty. The Arabs have been offered peace agreements over and over again. They have refused even to sit and speak face to face. All they want is war.and that is what they get. You should really read up a bit and not rely on u tube university.
