Only peaceful protest is acceptable and shows a government Democratic objection to policy is Valid and should be noted by any incumbent Government and then change of Government policy is necessary. The reality is referendums on any serious matters such as this should be initiated immediately to gauge public feeling , Any Government dictating to the public is unBritish !!!
