  1. I am Australian and I had my annual body scan for skin cancers three weeks ago and they found one on my ear. They scheduled "see and treat" operation (ie not a full theatre) to remove it. This was done last week. I will get the results of the biopsy next week. Cost to me - nothing other than my annual 2% contribution. Sure the government contributes by us contributing to it through our taxation levy. If you wish you can take out private insurance.
