yes. That is why car companies will say whether their fuel systems are ethanol compatible or not. Here in Australia that can either be E10 or less common E85.

yeah I found it logical and well presented.

Only problem i saw was that they needed to allow the rain-x one to do a couple of wipes so that the activation could complete.

@That1Carson The simple answer is that if your fuel delivery system isn't designed for ethanol then don't use it. I use 91RON lead free non ethanol in my lawn mower for this reason but in my dual fuel car (an Australian Ford Fairmont wagon), which is E10 compatible, I run either LPG, E10 or 91 depending on price. I get 17litres/100kilometres from LPG 14.5L/100 on E10 (94RON) and 12.9l/100 on 91RON. This is in city driving which included roads with 60 and 80kph speed limits. I will only run three tanks of LPG before running a tank of either E10 or 91 Ron to provide upper cylinder lubrication. I have had no issues with injectors or fouling plugs and my engine is an inline 4.0 six which has done 370,000 kilometres. In short I don't see it as better or worse- just different and you have to judge the cost of the fuel against the consumption. If I am going on a highway/freeway trip I will run my Ford on petrol to start up but when it gets to operating temp i will switch to LPG until it runs out and then back to petrol. This gives me a range of just under 1000K. Typical prices in Dandenong Australia at the moment are LPG AUD $0.90/litre, E10 is 1.65/litre and 91 is $1.70/litre.

Do you use RainX or similar on your windscreen as well. I do and it helps the blades last longer.
