@aussiviking604 If you use the correct size and type screwdriver it makes such a difference and they don't strip. If they strip then you are using either the wrong screwdriver, the wrong dort or you have an incorrect torque setting on your power or hand torque driver. Its no different than using a metric spanner on imperial nuts and expecting to get good results. Cheapskate is relative. We use them all the time and when you are using thousands of them the price does make a difference. We do use Torx but only in very small sizes (T3)

@jonmce1 The problem with Robertson is that people over tighteh them for no good reason (same happens at times with hex heads)

yes horses for course. High torque I use cap screws with hex drive.
