  1. This was apparently started by a diesel truck. Any EV that caught fire was as a result of that. My car runs on LPG and I think if there were multiple LPG powered vehicles in the car park you would have explosions as well. Your fears are well founded but EVs are not the only problem.

  2. What is the depreciation on a MB CL400 like? Probably not quite as bad but still horrific. These vehicles are leased rather than bought outright so they don't care what the residual is.
