@alicecobb7763 I am an Aussie too and I also feel for those who voted for him on false pretenses - ie Affordable Health Care is "Obamacare" but a lot did not realise that and also they didn't understand that they pay the tariffs not the foreign country and if, like China has done they refuse to export to the us then 200% of 0 is 0 and you can't buy the product either or you will pay through the nose for local production.

Trump is just putting outrageous thoughts out while he can. He won't be able to after he takes over. The problem he has is that people are taking him seriously and enacting payback before he evens starts the actions he is talking about (ie tariffs) - they can do it because they run their countries whereas he can't do anything at the moment.
