  3. They have use the Capri name on four different vehicles that I can think of stretching back to 1952.

  6. lets get real here. They haven't worked out how the fire started and of the 3,000 cars under 30 were electric. the last major fire on a car carrier was on one that had no electric cars on it.

  13. here in Australia serious buyers of jaguar 120 or Bentley 4-1/2 don't buy them through auction unless they are very special. they go for private sales.

  17. which one? I liked the Mercury Capri convertible but would not call it a thing of beauty. Same applies to the Lincoln Capri or the Consul Capri (all Ford products)

  19. Interesting result here in Australia. Donningtons held an auction of motorcycles with a 97% sell rate and a couple of records set. I don't know much about the classic bike scene but rarer cars tend to be sold either through clubs or just private sales here. Sure there have been big auctions held but they are less common.
