  3.  @doppies2000  it is quite simple. None of the authorities have said that being vaccinated totally stops you from contracting the disease. It reduces the possibility of you needing hospitalization and reduces the possibility of death. Same with the seasonal flu vaccine - you can still get flu just nowhere near as severe.

  15.  Ross Allen  why. It hasn't gone to Libya and killed a leader nor Afghanistan nor other places except in commerce. If that makes it an enemy then i will take it. You can include Russia too with their annexation of places, but Russia and China have only done this in places that have a history of being their territory previously.

I have seen convincing arguments that suggest the US took it to the military games in Wuhan. i am not convinced that it didn't just mutate from animals. PPE problem is the same as all industries have now - it is that crap called "just in time".

  22.  @erikfuentes9269  the States have their laws and it allow for postage -that is where the three days come from , here in Australia apostal ballot is accepted if it is post marked before election day as long as it is received by the Electoral office within 13 days of the election date.. There are all sorts of different laws and you have 50 different state laws i am surprised that anyone can keep up with them and be across all of them.

  34. yep the people did. the pity is that a lot of them have no idea of what is in our Constitution (section 51 anyone?) or even what it does. It is an instrument for colonies to form a federation and distribute the responsibilities. It left out the original inhabitants as they were not considered to be part of the colonies.

  36.  paul katter  the ABC is far more than political comment shows. Children's shows, sport, arts all get covered within the ABC umbrella. I have never heard of the ABC being a government propaganda machine before. ABC radio makes damn sure they give equal time to major parties and have input from minor parties during elections. The one problem they have is when pollies decide they don't want to go on the ABC (so they can accuse it of bias when the other side does go on).

  44.  @dougashurst2022  What a load of crap. Government can't be seen to be interfering in the legal system of other countries but that doesn't mean they are not doing anything. Both sides of Australian politics have done things to try and free Mr Assange and it took a long time to get to a situation where everyone would accept an outcome whilst not totally agreeing with it.
