@themoviehobbit355 The problem is we have allies and if they start a war we have to assist them and our greatest ally is the most likely country to initiate a war - the good old USA..

Do you honestly think that any country is relying on its navy to win a potential war? Even in the worst outcome nukes fired from subs (by any side) would only even things up as the other would respond in kind.

@blainedunlap4242 I doubt that China is relying on its navy at all. they are not in to battles but their navy would be protecting other assets.

and when have they done this before? Even when they took over from the nationalists they only fought one battle and that was not supposed to happen. They could have used brute force on Taiwan any time after 1945 but haven't.

Sounds sensible to me - an explosive in a sewer system would be a disaster - there is an awful lot of methane down there. I spent four years living in China and I laugh at a lot of comments about China and its Government.

@casbot71 emus can rip your guts out with the swipe of their feet. I have seen it happen to a Roo dog once - not a pretty sight.

@mynameisnobody211 alright then as an Australian I will spell it out for you. We are so far up the arse of the Americans that calling us a puppet is not strong enough.

@rightwingnucleararmedaussi1544 With what our Prime Minstrel is saying about China we are well and truly up there. there is nothing traitorist about being objective. I have lived in China and i can tell you that a lot of what gets reported here is crap (of course not all is crap). Haven't you worked out that there are so many people employed in America producing weapons that their government has to keep a fervour going to justify the expenditure. If its rivals weren't seen as enemies and they reduced defence spending then millions would be unemployed.
