  1. I always wonder whether the noise of the blower is a cause of some problems. It is too high for us to know which blower makes the noise or not.

  5. maybe it is the sound of the dryer rather than the wind that he doesn't like. There will be noises from it that humans can't hear.

  6. i wouldn't be surprised if the problem with the high velocity blower is a noise that we can't hear.

  7. the loudness of the equipment is most likely never a problem. The frequency however is a different thing and you can't hear it to kno. You have to watch the reaction when you turn a machine on. We had a Cocker Spaniel that would go ballistic if you turned on one vacuum cleaner but had no problem with the other one but to us they sounded the same.

  10. My brother has five of them. They are great guard dogs - placid and sleeping during the day but alert during the night.

  12. I haven't had much to do with great danes but the two I knew the best were fantastic dogs. One was called Conan and he looked very imposing but was the sweetest dog you could come across except if you went near his two year old mistress and then he went in to guard dog mode. the other was a neighbours dog and I went to a motor race 1000k away from home and when I came out of the toilets and had gone about 20metres I saw this huge dog running towards me. It then jumped up on me and realised that it was my neighbours dog. How he identified me from 20 metres I will never know. he really loved his pats and cuddles. His exhausted owner finally caught up and started laughing at what had happened.
