  2.  @perla5921  They may be able to see that turbulence is ahead but they have no way of judging the severity of it with any accuracy. the problem here was it knocked out the autopilot (or so the report i heard this morning said) so they must not have been expecting it.

  3. I think Boeing has more trouble than QC - it also has a problem with Quality Assurance.
