the Brock/Cleland car shown at 14:42 is a replica. My nephew recently sold the original to an Aussie expat in America so Ian look out for it as i think he intends to race it in demonstration events.

195 is about right but two of them aren't strictly countries - the Vatican and Palestine.

merry Christmas from Australia (39C in Melbourne today but Christmas day was a pleasant 30C), I had a delightful time at my nieces house. there were 15 or so of us. I drank too much red wine so took the train home and went back this morning to pick up the car!

I heard this morning that they have just found a new species of funnel web spider and its even bigger than the usual one.

The Chev SS sales were deliberate. they only wanted to sell 15,000 of them. When we did the prototype instrument clusters we were told that the entire run would be no more than 15K so that is why they did not advertise them. I think the reasoning was the overall fuel average for chev vehicles (in California I think) - if they sold more of the SS then it would have increased their overall consumption figure.

In Australia a lot of our garbage trucks are dual control - LHD and RHD!

I loved the difference in colouring between the perenties shown. The only lizard I know of that is bugger is the Komodo Dragon.
3
Did he say the East Indies? I think he meant the West Indies (unless my knowledge of cricket sides is totally wrong!)

i think i will start selling sausage rolls. I make a batch of 8 at a time. the sausage mine costs $10/kg and I use 500g. Two eggs $2.00 some breadcrumbs $020 and some sauces about 0.40 and the pastry $1.50 so all up is less than $9 for eight sausage rolls. At that rate i would expect them to be selling for around $5 each to cover labour cooking oncosts and profit.

I use Firefox as does all the people I work with.

It surprises me that they didn't use a helicopter in view of the distance- must of been a good reason.
3
even station wagons are more practical to SUVs in some circumstances.
3
Binfluencers are important here in Melbourne as we have three or four bins with different coloured top. If the binfluencer gets the wrong colour out then a lot of people will have just followed their lead and stuffed whole collection up.
3
When are you going to pay us a visit? The weather here is pretty good compared to what the USA is experiencing at the moment.
3
we have a group of about thirty living around where I live. Three particular ones come down to our driveway every evening. i can walk withing a metre of them without them taking flight.
3
I know of two racing Commodores that have been sold lately, one went for about AUD250,000k (not sure of the auction fees) but another went for considerably more than AUD500,000K and was a private sale.

Bunya pine is used for acoustic guitars.

Probably leaves the shutter open for the lightning shot.
3
Re Lindbergh - the difference between "first person" rather than "first people".
3
Do Japanese prices include all taxes? If not then that may explain the difference. TimTams have recently gone up in price to AUD6.00 for the smaller packet.
3
yep to me a pram allows the child to lay down and a stroller lets them see what is going on and they can't lay down.
3
the Australian equivalent of the Brazilian Charger would be the VF Valiant 770 V8 two door Mexico (it had the same buttresses).
3
The name was what did it - the turn it self is a piece of piss and no harder than waiting for a green arrow.
3
You probably didn't get electric frypans because of your voltage only being 110V.

If you are interested a fellow youtuber called the CarWizard (he is in Newton KS) has one of these and is restoring it so keep an eye out for his videos on it. The only problem with the ID/DS was that they were a little underpowered until perhaps the last iteration of it. they came with a few different engines through their production. They were also assembled here in Melbourne Australia and were called the Parisienne model as they included local content. Nearly all of them were 1900cc manuals but ours didn't have power steering and I think they had a pendant brake pedal (not 100% sure but my mates did). I think ours had an aluminium roof. The DS23 has turning headlights.
3
the Mahindra thing might be a way of getting around the Chicken Tax (which is why you don't get Land Cruisers)
3
I'll still go to the local fish 'n chippers and pay $9 for one with the lot.

I remember seeing one that was charcoal in colour and had a formula1 car painted on the side so at night it looked like an F1 car was passing in front of you at the intersection. I laughed the first time i saw it.

baseball reminds me of rounders.

@PhoenixNL72-DEGA- it amounts to the same in his mind.

people used to buy houses for security but now they are treated more as an investment.

I got plenty of chuckles from this video! Thanks.

A lot of appreciation of wine is down to what you are used to. I like wines from most regions and am currently drinking wines from around 2000 that a mate gave me. They are delicious generally but an occasional one is corked. The Shiraz i opened tonight says it has a black cherry flavour and they couldn't be more right! This video must be a few years old as a 2015 Chardonnay would most likely be past it.

All the surviving Holden concept cars are now in museums here. effigy, GTR-X and Hurricane are at Birdswood Adelaide, i think.
2
You can find the tax spend by department nationally but you have to search for it. I have found it previously but can't remember what I input.
2
I live in Melbourne Australia and I never buy water as our tap water is so good. It does sometimes have a slight chemical taste but not often.
2
@rogerwilco2 the problem with the compromises is that we voted a Government in to do specific things and the people that got less votes get to modify what we wanted.
2
Two things that make things expensive in Australia- the cost of freighting things from overseas to Australia and the exchange rate.

wrong historically. Tea should be made with water just before it boils ( same with instant coffee). You will seldom if ever get boiling water used to make tea in China who are the experts on tea drinking. If they boil water they will use it to pre heat the tea pot but not pour it on the tea itself..
2
@esmeralda3858 I totally disagree. I spent four years living in China and no one there used boiling water to make tea and the price of some the tea was mind blowing. I go along with them and my favourite tea is Oolong and I never use boiling water and let it brew for four minutes or so but I am happy for you to do it your way.
2
Seats facing the street should be for passengers for buses or trams as they need to see the oncoming traffic.
2
Thanks for your concern - it is appreciated. The big problem for this recovery will be that there is shortage of a lot of things from cars to furniture and this will make it even worse.
2
It is able to raise itself up to go over speedhumps. The jump is probably not intentional.
2
"Capsicum annuum". is the scientific species name for them.
2
the dark green military vehicle looks like an Austin Champ.

years ago when i lived in China I could easily buy TimTams in any city that had an expat population (ie Shenzhen, Shanghai )
2
I knew what the eye wash is and i have one.

happy New Year

I find it strange that they can't afford extra pay but they can afford to lose $50million in sales.
