  1. the language difference can be quite important. When i worked in China we had an American, two Englishmen, a New zealander and two Australians and the translator/interpreters had to cope with the differences. Of course we realised that and made sure they were given time to digest what we were saying until they got used it. My Chinese girlfriend once got accused by a Canadian of speaking perfect Australian with a slight American accent.
