i spent a couple of weeks in Karratha visiting friends who live there. I think it would have been march and the temp didn't get under 30C at any time during my stay. Just as well i don't have problems sleeping in the heat. Even Melbourne is fairly hot at the moment 35C today and 24C overnight - must be fun for the tennis players!
