  1. Women in bars was new to a lot of people. Many years later there was a really bad storm and a woman was sheltering in the doorway of the pub. I got her to come in to the bar and arranged a cup of tea for her. She was surprised at how civilised it was.

  2. That worm is a toy one. We also have the Gippsland Earthworm (Megascolides australis) which average a metre in length and can grow to 3 metres. They are found in Victoria

  5. I have had kangaroos around a couple of times whilst playing golf and they are inquisitive but you just hit over them. Like any wild animal you have to judge them as you see them. A big buck defending a group would be a good reason for a hasty withdrawal.
