  2. i can remember when the BA Falcon was being introduced. I was working on buying the parts for the pcb in the instrument cluster. Our engineer went to Ford at the Youyangs to do some tweaking to the software and got to both drive a barra turbo and be a passenger. His normal ride was a BMW1200 bike. He came back and said it was the first time he had been shocked at the speed of a vehicle. Ford realised they had to 'wind back' the turbo Barra as it was both faster and quicker than the V8 version (non turbo). and ford being ford couldn't have an i6 being faster than their V8.
