They used to be popular in Australia too but there are only a few available these days (Passats etc) I still run a 1999 Ford Fairmont AU1 Wagon of which there was only 2,200 made as it was the top of the range. i can fit my dining table and chairs in the back, back ing the day ford replaced the wagon with the Territory which was a great alternative. Subaru's website in Australia shows the Forrester, Outback and Crosstrek as SUVs.

the Buick shown looks the same as the last model Holden Commodore.

The biggest problem is marketing have decided that wagons are no longer flavour of the month and doing everything to reinforce that view.
