I am Australian and I drive a Ford Fairmont AU1 Station Wagon from 1999. It is so easy to live with as long as you don't mind the fuel economy. As it is on dual fuel I use LPG on long trips which is rare now that I have retired. We always called them station wagons (or station sedans) as they got used to go to the railway station and then to the farm (station).

@robertcox1835 yeah I had the choice of a Ford Territory or my wagon. It was tight but I finally went with wagon even though i would have preferred the Barra engine the Terry had.
