@timjuhls if you showed him a map of the US with bad Covid states marked in red he would think it was the election result! The man has an ego.

@sorsorsor11 I don't have Google maps turned on on my phone nor have I allowed it to have a location confirmed in Google or any other app. The phone may track you but is it Google doing it or the phones software or perhaps a government tracker? the phone knows which cell towers you have been near without Googles assistance.

@kyliehill5112 Australia does not have an ID card system. Most adults will have a driver's licence or a medicare card but you can get an ident card called a keycard if you feel you need it.

@Alice_Walker I too am an Aussie. Years ago I was talking to a friends wife who was going to have a back operation in a private hospital but the surgeon had to be replaced. It turned out the one that was going to do the operation had done surgery on me in a public hospital. I showed her the healed wound and she was delighted at how good it looked. It is often that the surgeons you get in the public hospital is the same one you would get if you used a private hospital and health insurance. I have had at least 9 full theatre skin cancer operations and five "see and treat" operations ate Petermac cancer hospital and those have not cost me anything other than my annual medicare contribution at tax time.

@vrubinst I am Australian and I imagine the US has one thing in common with us - your doctor often chooses the specialist they refer you to and you put your trust in their choice.

I think you will find that Mr Biden's vote is higher than Mr Obama's was which does surprise me a little.

A grate job more likely -cover over a gutter!

These people asking the question are amazing. I hope they aren't indicative of the entire Congress.
1
@dankmemer258 yeah Google might not know but the NSA or similar probably can find out easily enough. It is as if these congressional members think that google runs the dive it is loaded on. It makes as much sense as asking Takata who make airbags why are my tyres wearing out too quickly.

@dankmemer258 There are probably Apps that you can load through Google Play that will record your movements but that isn't Google doing it.

@sorsorsor11 It "can" not "does" - two different things.

Americans have some strange ideas. Even the question "If everybody has something for free, who’s gonna pay for it?" means they don't understand that there is no free healthcare but their is different ways of paying for it. In Australia you can choose to have private health insurance or you can just have medicare which if funded by you contributing 2% of you taxable income each year. It is free but it is much cheaper. The Government subsidises medicines. With our Ambulance service isn't free either but you can become a subscriber to them. I do this and it costs me $145 for 3 years membership (as a single double that for a family). I can use any sort of ambulance (helicopter, stroke, intensive care etc) and not pay a single cent extra for it. It is State run but they reciprocate so it is effective anywhere in Australia for me.

@fatherson5907 Got time to do it so we do.

@Brozius2512 yes a real waste of time - thank s for the heads up.

@ebujunior6206 yeah but who waited three years before they joined the fight?
1
@LS-qs9ju once you know the type of car perhaps it is but then it depends on the condition of it too.
1
@LS-qs9ju that's why the US is against Huawei - the NSA can't work with Huawei!

I wonder who else he would attack without proof?

The guys could have just told him their office number couldn't they. I think i would have asked them again for it.

As an Australian I am covered by our Medicare system and don't have private health insurance. I pay 2% of my taxable income as my Medicare contribution. I suffer from skin cancers and get them treated in a public hospital. So far since 2002 I have at least 9 full operating theatre operations, I have had four outpatient operations (which included getting one removed from the end of my nose, about 2cm round and a skin graft to cover it - which turned out brilliantly). Fortunately I have not required medicines/drugs which are not covered by Medicare. So far far I have paid no extra money for these services. I do subscribe to our Ambulance service it costs AUD145 for 3 years. When I see my local doctor he charges me AUD60 and I get back AUD38 from Medicare. If the doctor 'bulk bills' then you pay nothing. He will do this for me soon as i turn 65. I really am amazed at American attitudes to healthcare.
