  1.  @sorsorsor11  I don't have Google maps turned on on my phone nor have I allowed it to have a location confirmed in Google or any other app. The phone may track you but is it Google doing it or the phones software or perhaps a government tracker? the phone knows which cell towers you have been near without Googles assistance.

  3.  @dankmemer258  yeah Google might not know but the NSA or similar probably can find out easily enough. It is as if these congressional members think that google runs the dive it is loaded on. It makes as much sense as asking Takata who make airbags why are my tyres wearing out too quickly.
