  1. Mirrors on the guards is so bizarre (unusual to Americans perhaps) ? My father had an Australian Chrysler Royal that had mirrors there and I think it was a requirement in Japan that they be there up until 1983. I have also seen them on Mk7 Jaguars and other UK cars.
