  1. Those vulnerable countries may be aligning themselves with BRICS. That is a choice they can make. Ditch the UN that is extracting concessions for aid and go to BRICS where China and Russia will be dominant. Communism will be dominant in BRICS, but they may be better off there. It seems like countries in BRICS will pull away from the UN, since they see themselves in competition with the west. I hope all US aid will stop, 75 years is long enough, it’s sink or swim for sovereign nations, including the global north (as the UN calls western countries ).
