  2. I loved this video, I did not realize how much regulation authority the EU has. In the US , our federal government serves in much the same way. Regulations are critically important. However what has happened is the regulators regulations…. have become political and sometimes used to bypass laws… and they can become a way to punish and control businesses.. even force them to contribute to political entities, or insert government operatives onto the BOD. They also control banks thru regulations and can determine who gets loans, …. like minority farmers but excluding white farmers…… or what products to produce. And other agencies have completely detached from US laws.. by just using regulations . In particular, the IRS, FBI, DOJ… spying and arresting people who have not committed crimes. They hold power by using taxpayer money and their teams of lawyers (regulations) to financially ruin people. So in the US bureaucrats who are regulators have amassed uncontrollable power. It sounds like the EU has not taken a turn like that… but I’m just sharing with you a cautionary story about US regulators.

  3. Thank you for covering Greece… a fascinating study for anyone interested in macroeconomics. 1) Massive government corruption…if the EU can’t even get correct numbers. 2. People with skills leave the country… also points to…everyone in Greece knows there is corruption and it’s not turning around. 3. Tiny private sector middle class… like in the days of Kings and Queens. This also points to corruption…. no business in its right mind would risk a penny to start up and attempt to grow a business that will be clawed back by the government. 4. Total posers and thieves (government officials not citizens). . taking money from the EU (and now also the US) with no intention of paying it back. Conclusion…This is a failed state… with no interest in changing… it is an old King/Queen/princelings/aristocrats country. Other countries are idiots for forcing their honest hardworking taxpayers to give Greek bureaucrats a penny! Especially the stupid WOKE/Biden administration! PS. There is a certain ex finance minister from Greece.. who is always lecturing the US about its god awful capitalist system (in his opinion) he is quite brilliant…and an economist…. he should immediately be elected to Prime Minister so he can possibly transform Greece into a responsible sovereign nation that it should and could be!♥️ Great well researched lecture and great well spoken, lecturer! 🌻🌻♥️🇺🇸

  4. Caps on prices will destroy the 2 or 3 companies left in the UK. Bureaucrats are clueless on how to run a business… and in particular an energy business. They will become a third world poverty country… just like the rest of Europe (France has uranium from Africa, for nuclear, so they are ok)…. but all the economies will tank … businesses require consistent, reliable, cheap energy.. to sustain a decent economy. Ditto for the rest of the world… especially the Biden administration that is committing economic suicide shutting down natural gas, fossil fuels, nuclear energy… in favor of Kerry/Biden/UN. ..windmills and solar. Remember Solyndra??

  6. The answer is no. Europe just whistles for the US military and NATO. It saves them trillions and they don’t do capitalism. They have also started whistling for infrastructure (ie, Greece harbor. They do socialized health care and windmills….so they need the US to provide their other needs…. like an expensive military. And they probably don’t do borrowing… they want the US taxpayers to do it all…

  10. The question is not if a confederation would be good.. it’s how much power would each sovereign nation have to turn over to the EU. For instance , would the EU have the power to decide how much electricity each nation can use. What kind of food is produced. Would you be allowed to own a car, or land? The federal government is smashing the middle class in the US, because they want more power to make these types of decisions… for each person. Federal bureaucracies tend to become autocrats…that leads to totalitarian types of government. Look carefully at what is happening in the US…before handing over power to central governments.

It will probably be a stalemate for about as long as Afghanistan… but the good news for the EU… the US taxpayers will be infusing $300,000,000 a day for 20 year into various European countries ( like infrastructure projects) that’s what Forbes calculated the US taxpayers paid for the Afghan war. A lot of people (not US taxpayers!) will get really rich! The US media never showed the carnage in Afghanistan… however, in the US the Ukrainian news is on 24/7. What about Europe… are all the media covering it 24/7?? Ukraine must be more strategic than Afghanistan?? Where did Afghanistan refugees go then Taliban was chasing them down. Afghanistan has been ghosted…. Where is Afghanistan….does anyone know????

The US will fall soon just like Turkey. The US is now financing other countries wars and other countries infrastructure….. however…. not a penny of the Border Wall or US infrastructure…. They have just pounced on Trump again, and our brand new WOKE government will be releasing 80,000 armed IRS WOKE agents in the US.
