  1. Developed countries do not have the money to pay not only their own bills, but bills of the South. The South, thru BRICS, hopefully will be able to pay their own bills. The North has been paying bills for other countries for 75 years, that means taxpayers have not only worked for themselves but for people all over the world. It is time for other countries to cut their dependence on the North. BRICS may help do that! Climate change caused by people, could be slowed without spending trillions of dollars. Don’t use electricity, don’t buy tv’s, cell phones, automobiles, don’t build infrastructure. Stop buying things. That would do it! Unfortunately, everyone feels entitled to and buys all those Western/Northern products. So if you purchase the products… you are contributing to climate change. Therefore North and South must PAY for climate change. Technology is developed in the West/North at GREAT cost… the rest of the world just has to order it over the phone…but…they are also on the hook for USING it…because that contributes to climate change.

  2. Why should South Africa get preferential treatment on trade deals with the U.S..? That means right off the bat, discrimination for some political reason. Every nation makes deals that are beneficial to their own nation. Why is the U.S. suppose to think differently? Trade not aid. South Africa has received billions of dollars from U.S. taxpayers for all sorts of South African ‘needs’. That means US people handed over a percentage of their wages….FREE …to South Africa. Is it now expected? Trade not aid is what it always should be. Aid is temporary and U.S. taxpayer’s do not work for other countries free. 🌎
