  1. I take a generic (small dose) prescribed antidepressant. I chose it because I heard that it was a common college student ‘study/focus’ pill. I do not take any other medications and never have. For me, taking the antidepressant, has been miraculous. If I forget to take it.. which sometimes I do… within a few hours I am more unfocused and dragging…also I have taken the same small dosage for 4 years.. it seems not to require ‘readjusting’ on dosage. My daughter also takes antidepressants, however, the drug I take does not work for her. The brain is so complicated,…we will never figure it out… but I will say, in my case, small dosage antidepressant drugs may make a significant difference…even if we do not understand exactly how they work.
