  3. This ‘charge the dragon’ is a brilliant concept. It’s particularly helpful if you are fighting depression and anxiety… in which case you are in a ‘frozen’ position. It’s a brain ‘fight’ mode.. which maybe puts the brain in a ‘go’ mode. I think Dr. Peterson, being a clinical psychologist, is quite brilliant at speaking to the tens of millions suffering from depression and anxiety. I am personally very grateful for his ideas….🌻

  7. This is a fascinating interview. I grew up in a military family also, and my family moved almost every year. You don’t have friends except for neighborhood children because you are only there for one year. You learn not to become attached, everyone is temporary. I love his honesty.

  9. My first job was working in a dry cleaning business. I just took the clothes from the customers and wrote up the tickets… then there were 3 people in the back, who took the cloths out of the bags to start the cleaning process. After a month or two I started noticing the people in the back would hold some of the clothes in front of themselves, inspect them and then throw them in a bag… their bag!😂😂 you learn all kinds of things from every job, you learn what you DON’T want to do. Each job teaches you something… and there is no better training then starting at the bottom. I bet most entrepreneurs have had a lot of jobs before attempting a business of their own! Going to Harvard or Yale and then ‘placed’ in a BOD job, without a lot of business experience (starting at the bottom) is a recipe for disaster…for you AND the business. There is no substitute for many ‘lower’ valued jobs. That’s how you learn how the REAL world works!

  12. 28:43… how do you come up with a hypothesis..(thought)… There is present thought, but behind that is subconscious thought, running on its own and very rational. But it can pop into present thought. I had this happen. 😂 Only once that I’m aware of. It’s such an interesting topic. This discussion was fascinating, I could listen to John Lennox all day with his wonderful Irish accent and his brilliant mind. Jordan Peterson is the perfect person to pair with John Lennox on faith and science. I hope they have many more discussions! ❤️✝️

  15. That was an encyclopedic interview on the complexities of the Middle East and Africa. Ancient culture v Modernity is a book in itself. As an American taxpayer…. My question is 75 years of funding countries around the world, sending US soldiers to fight OTHER countries wars (a new one in Ukraine)…. Afghanistan, (Forbes) $300,000,000 a day for 20 years, how much money sent directly to Israel, Iran, Palestine, Africa….NATO, UN How many jobs should each US citizen have, many are living in cars and working.. Your guest couldn’t have stuffed in more interesting and educational information… he was easy to follow and certainly knows the neighborhood. I loved all of Dr. Peterson’s questions. I hope Dr. Peterson can get another perspective on the ancient civilization side. I have listened on YouTube to Emir Sanusi, he is in Nigeria, he comes from a royal family that is in that neighborhood, he is an Islamic intellectual, an academic, banker…. and Nigeria is a player in the oil industry. He could eloquently speak to the ancient and modern. Dr. Peterson hit another home run interview… thank you. 🌻

  23. If you look at Afghanistan you can get a glimpse of the problems with the rest of the Middle East. The U.S. spent 20 years and billions of dollars per week… setting up infrastructure, bases, and attempting to secure a stable government. It did no good… because the region is tribal. And those tribes go back thousands of years and conflicts between tribes go back thousands of years. The U.S. tried to set up a government in Iraq…also a huge mistake and quite likely Iran will capture Iraq because they are both Shiite and tribal. It would be so interesting to have Ayaan Hirsi Ali on again to discuss… if she sees a way out of that tribal culture… or if the best idea…is leave them alone… to infinitely fight it out. I don’t want one more U.S. soldier to lose arms and legs and faces and their life..not one more second… in the Middle East!

Dr. Peterson’s background in clinical psychology AND religion make him the perfect person to pick apart the psychological importance of religion… which no one up until now has talked about. Redistribution…. …..that is forcing one group to hand over assets that they have earned (the productive group) ….and GIVE THEM to the overlords (the U.N. climate tzars) who in their wisdom will redistribute according to the ‘needs of the unproductive’. The universities depend on money not only for government loan programs in the billions, but also research grants for the professors, or departments like veteran programs, affirmative action programs, etc. The universities also place students in government jobs thru networking.. especially Ivy League universities like Harvard or Yale.
