  1. Almost every country could have energy, if their government wanted it. They say they need it, if U.S. taxpayers will send them money. The U.S. sends aid and loans every year…but every year these governments have excuses why it didn’t work, and then they say they need more. The people in these countries will never flourish until THEY change their government, and change their economic system…to capitalism. Forcing taxpayers in the U.S. to work free for 6 billion people is a fools errand. It is up to each sovereign nation to make changes in their system of government…before there are changes. These nations have never had modern technology, and these nations do not seem to have a population decline. Western nations , the global north, is declining. So who should we really feel sorry for. 🌎

  3. I have heard you have to have a lot of electricity to run AI. Europe is relying on solar and wind….won’t that be a big problem. They will also be mandating all electric cars…. Where will all that electricity be coming from!

  4. Every nation should already be doing this. Government’s in most countries want ‘rich countries’ to pay for other countries who CHOOSE not to implement successful economic policies. They are not stupid people…they just want someone else to pay. 90% of speeches at the UN… were countries demanding and expecting other countries to financially support them. Each sovereign country must be responsible for it’s own economic success. One group can’t be serf’s to the rest of the world.🌎. Trade not aid. There are PhD’s in all sovereign nation’s.

  5. ESG/DEI is not a competition between businesses. That is missing the whole point of the ESG/DEI. It’s IMPOSED on business by government. It is a Trojan horse inserted into the heart of the business designed to GROW once inside the hiring (diversity officer), on the board of director (what products to produce, ie Disney movies ‘replotted’ to coincide with government narratives), DEI officer as CEO, deciding on issues like wage increases, number of employees hired (bleeding profits to feed the state not improve the business), what resources to use to produce the product. DEI/ESG➡️ Soviet Union businesses, not for profit businesses➡️dead businesses. NOTE: A tiny example. Calling a customer service rep. the 1-800-ones for a large financial institution (transferring funds into different numbered accounts) and not being able to understand a word the ‘service rep’ says (garbled sounds). That’s a DEI hire. So the customer has to hang up, redial and hope the next ‘service rep’ is speaking an English dialect that can be understood. (Inserting incompetents that vote democrat)

  11. A great macroeconomic look at today’s condition of capitalism. It boils down to a strong partnership with government. A private sector, federal government collusion. I think the swipe at Trump did not take into account the Swamp attacking hm for the last 7 years (the speaker was probably getting his American news from CNN)…but other than that, it was a well thought out, interesting, current status of US capitalism. (which I think Trump did a great job considering the creatures with 🔪🔪🔪🔪jumping out at him!!!

  15. There are 8B people on the planet. 350million US citizens are responsible for supporting 6B people, according to the UN. The U.S. is what they call the global North. How many people does each US taxpayer have to support so we don’t die from climate change? This climate change issue boils down to who pays!

  16. The key to improvement is innovation and technology. That is the domain of the western ‘global north’. That only works with capitalism. The U.S. is the big dog in innovation and technology because entrepreneurs can make money on successful products and services . As long as other countries expect profits in the U.S. to support the global south…it leaks out of the U.S. economy and new research, business, etc. goes down. The U.S. needs to concentrate on what it does best… supply the world with new products for the rest of the world. It should NOT be used as a piggy bank so other countries can ‘flourish’. Other countries need to change their economic systems to capitalism. 🌎❤

  22. The bottom line , continuing innovation in technology…is exactly what the U.S. and other western countries specialize in. And as long as the U.S. has capitalism.. the job can get done. If capitalism is shut down innovation shuts down. If government stays out …money will go to the technology that will be most helpful and efficient. Net zero is communist redistribution, of U.S. wealth, to other countries….which has nothing to do with climate change.

  23. Brilliantly laid out speech on Net Zero. The only thing he got wrong was the participation of the U.S. in the Net Zero scam. Only Trump’s election may save America. The Biden administration and California are 100% in on Net Zero, only the election of Donald Trump has thrown a monkey wrench into their path. It is to soon to tell whether the era of Greta and the UN’s Net Zero will be moving forward without the U.S.

Mr. Tinker seems to be saying the Global South wants the exact same things as the Global North, but does not mention the obvious elephant in the room… the things everyone wants are in the western world culture…..capitalist countries, were white Christian’s live! Yikes!! The Global South and the UN, thinks the Global North should pay for all those things, because they are the rich capitalist polluters…..but the Global South and the UN want every item those rich countries have. Either the Western culture has the things that make life better or they don’t. Everyone wants the ‘stuff’ in the Western culture. Everyone can have that stuff, if they get rid of their dictators and communist overlords and switch to Western world capitalism based on a constitutional republic that protects individuals rights and private property. But no one gets it free… that would mean a slave is producing it.
