Proud boomer here… capitalism isn’t the problem with the children, it was mother’s working and putting children in daycare, and filling their days with activities, rather than what our mothers did, shoved us out of the house in the morning and said you can come back at dinner. Boomers started working at 15, boomer kids mostly didn’t. It’s the parents that have the biggest impact on their children, not capitalism. Capitalism gives people choices of products and services… capitalism doesn’t force you to purchase them. That’s on you! Just like consuming to many calories makes you fat….don’t blame the food…blame yourself!
