  1. The relationship’s between the government and the ‘private’ banking system is fascinating. Thank you for this discussion…. could you continue this?? It was to short. For instance, were junk bonds related to these bad loans, did this contribute to the 2008 world wide banking ‘almost’ collapse. I have read some European banks collapsed because of these bonds. Great, important information… thank you again! PS: Did Fannie and Freddie resell all those houses, there must have been thousands of houses, at bargain basement prices? Did taxpayers receive any of that money back??
