  1. Countries that produce products emit carbons. Africa exports raw materials and imports finished goods… the emissions are then produced in the manufacturing countries. If Africa did more manufacturing.. their carbon usage would go up also. The only way to reduce carbon emissions is to reduce world wide products. There are 7B people on the planet… they all want food, electricity, cars, houses, computers, etc. etc. who will stop using products? If demand for products go down countries that produce them will reduce production and emissions will go down. No one will use less electricity… everyone wants MORE electricity. That’s what the issue is on carbon emissions. And no one owes money because they are producing products that everyone wants and buys. Everyone benefits from getting those products… including food for 7B people.
