  1. Trade routes are critical for getting oil around the world. And sea routes seem the most costly. Is there a case to be made for the Middle East, Europe and China… to have a transportation route from Europe , thru Ukraine to China… where they HAVE been going thru Russia. And also both Russia and Britain at one time tried to get to China and possibly other countries in the Middle East via Afghanistan. Could both Ukraine and Afghanistan be the new road and belt transport system. Could that have been the REAL reason US taxpayers were spending billions per day for 20 years. We were actually working for the benefit of China, and Europe. Also is the Suez Canal in jeopardy? PS Many wars were fought to get land routes from Europe to Egypt… when Egypt was the bread basket of the Mediterranean world. Sea routes have much more risk.
