  1. This topic of ‘if there is a God’ is right up there with faith. God did not spare HIS only son pain…. Jesus was slowly and viciously tortured and God was watching AND Jesus knew it was going to happen. What parent would not intervene and say.. ‘oh no you don’t… not MY son’.. (..and actually God did not make Abraham, in the end kill Isaac, which is interesting). I wonder if God is telling us to live as Jesus lived, (bad things are going to happen to you) but if you have Christian faith (in being with the father in heaven after death) then you die in peace. God never promises interventions or outcomes during life . (I think it’s something like that, suffering is part of life). Prof. Lennox is fascinating to listen to, thank you for sharing that interview.
